You said a mouthful, Me Boy, and you made a couple 13, 14 good points. But you forgot that the Twins can use Target’s tagline now that their Stadium will be Target Field.

So, say what you want but “Expect More, Pay Less” Danny Boy.

Final thoughts: Casey Blake is the best value 3rd baseman in the American League with tremendous upside — a poor man’s Alex Rodriguez. The Twins front office deserves the MVP award. Gardy can get more out of Blake in one year than Eric Wedge could in six years combined. With Blake’s RH bat in the lineup, Morneau will hit 55 HR minimum next season.

Adam Everett is last years Nick Punto, a easy out. He is really bad at the plate, but hopefully he can throw to first, we need him just until Tolbert gets back. I was already to say goodbye, and now he is back. yuk

Doubtfull the Crushin’ Russian would come to Minnesota because he has become a fan favorite and busts his tail on every play. Something greatly admired in the visual sea of atrocious play i.e. Manny Red Sock looking like the target market audience for the marketing department for ‘8 Minute Abs’ while retrieving a ball in play.

Everett would be a good candidate for an LA trade but would the Twins ask too much for Everett or could Minnesota get another prospect such as the recent gem of Casilla? (for J.C. Romero via Angels)

Sufficive to say, Harris is a formidable utility SS, 3B, and 2nd basemen and has a knack for reaching into the mental toughness tank and coming up with some stellar play.

This makes both Everett and Lamb expendable because of the traffic jam of left handed sticks.

An Everett for Laroche transaction makes great sense for both teams since a top fielding MLB SS is stuck in the minors while Laroche maybe just needs a change of scenery.

Wow, I realize this was written like 10 days ago, But Carlos went for the cycle tonight. He is, in my opinion the most exciting player in MLB. Fast and a big swing. I have man love. No one knows what he will do, that is what is so fun about him. Baseball is a game of educated chance. He throws that out the window, he is so young and doesn’t know game as well as one should. He just goes nuts. Tonight with two outs he caught a ball and threw it in like it was not the last out. Maybe someday why will all say ” that is Carlos being Carlos. I will cry if they would send him down.

Once the season starts, there’s not much in the way of rumors floating around until the trade deadline approaches. Under About, it clearly states “this site is a source for Minnesota Twins news, rumors, and discussion.” It’s all part of the same overall topic, if you ask me.

Do you complain that profootballtalk.com has news too? Do you get mad that youtube has nothing about YOU and doesn’t use a tube?? There are millions of sites with more misleading monikers than this one.

Gomez is my new favorite Twin! Every time he is on base, every time he hits one in the gap, every time he bunts, blast off.
He is young and will make mistakes, but fast doesn’t take days off. I also like that he leads off and Joe hits behind him. Hit and run, run and hit, hit and walk, last year Joe had 57 walks, if Gomez hits ahead of him the whole year Joe will increase that number. TK - called him an “instant run”, Tom Kelly… Do you remember Tk liking anybody ever? This is going to be a fun year, young kids playing ball getting better everyday! Three Guns in the outfield! Once again nobody thinks the Twins have a chance, but 1-0 always looks good after a half inning of play.
