Joe Christensen adds some rumblings:
One baseball source told me he heard Hudson’s choices were down to Cleveland and the Twins, and that the Indians were actually offering more money. We have not confirmed Cleveland’s interest, and the fact the Indians would offer more money than the Twins is surprising because Cleveland has appeared cash-strapped all offseason.

With a significant number of infielders still available and few potential suitors, it appears the Twins’ patience may again work in their favor in the coming week. It certainly paid off in their signing of Jim Thome, who recognized the market reality and chose to get on a contender’s roster while he still had a […]

Despite Josh Fogg’s statement last week that the Twins had contacted him last week, it appears there is very little interest. Is Fogg trying to artificially inflate demand for his services? Or were the Twins really interested, but not at his price? Either way, here’s a quote from Rick Anderson in today’s […]

The Twins are looking to add a veteran presence to the starting rotation, and it looks like they’re after free agent Josh Fogg. Considering their payroll is embarrassingly low after shedding the cost of Torii Hunter and Johan Santana, and their history of easing pitchers to the big leagues — I think the team will […]
